To live in Wisdomville,

ladies must be a virtuous woman, and for a man,

he must look for the virtuous woman

MEMORY VERSE: Proverbs 14:1

“Every wise woman buildeth her house: but the foolish plucketh it down with her hands.”

In the book of Proverbs, we see two types of women mentioned

and there is an amazing contrast.

  1. THE STRANGE WOMAN  Proverbs 2:16 “To deliver thee from the _________________ woman…”

THE STRANGE WOMAN IS LEWD & EASILY GIVES UP HER PURITY

Proverbs 2:17 “Which forsaketh the guide of her _______________, and forgetteth the covenant of her God.”

THE STRANGE WOMAN IS A HOME BREAKER

Proverbs 14:1 “Every wise woman ___________________ her house: but the foolish ____________________ it down with her hands.”

THE STRANGE WOMAN IS EASY TO FIND

Proverbs 7:12 “Now is she without, now in the streets, and lieth in wait at ______________________ corner.”

THE STRANGE WOMAN IS IMMORAL

Proverbs 30:20 “Such is the way of an ________________________________ woman; she eateth, and wipeth her mouth, and saith, I have done no wickedness”

THE STRANGE WOMAN FOCUSES ON OUTER BEAUTY (outward attraction)

Proverbs 6:25 “Lust not after her _______________ in thine heart; neither let her take thee with her eyelids.”

THE STRANGE WOMAN IS CONTENTIOUS

Proverbs 21:9 “It is better to dwell in a corner of the housetop, than with a ___________________________ woman in a wide house.”

THE STRANGE WOMAN IS DECEITFUL

Proverbs 5:3 “For the lips of a strange woman drop as an honeycomb, and her mouth is _________________________ than oil:

THE STRANGE WOMAN IS HARMFUL TO HER HUSBAND

Proverbs 2:17 “Which forsaketh the _______________ of her youth [her husband], and forgetteth the covenant of her God.”

(NOTICE THE CONTRAST BETWEEN THE TWO WOMEN)

  • VIRTUOUS WOMAN Proverbs 31:10 “Who can find a ______________________ woman? for her ______________________ is far above ______________________.”

THE VIRTUOUS WOMAN IS LOYAL

Proverbs 31:11 “The__________________ of her ____________________ doth safely ___________________ in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil.” She is first and foremost trustworthy, so her husband has no doubts or fears about her. The virtuous woman can be trusted personally, intimately, domestically, economically, socially, and spiritually. She would not consider taking advantage of him or neglecting any of his needs or desires.

THE VIRTUOUS WOMAN IS HOME MAKER (Builder)

Proverbs 14:1 “Every wise woman ___________________________ her house: but the foolish plucketh it down with her hands.” Great women are not born – they are made. A great woman chooses to be great. She has the right priorities for her life; she is wise and disciplined; her family and estate prosper.

HARD TO FIND (a rare gem)

Proverbs 31:10 “Who can _______________________ a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.”

Only a few favored men find a virtuous woman, for they are very rare. Wise men will search for such a woman.

PRECIOUS

Proverbs 31:10 “Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far ___________________________ rubies.”

“Who can find a virtuous woman?” is rhetorical; you know the answer – not very many can find one. There are few on earth, and they are precious.

FOCUSES ON INNER BEAUTY (Heart attraction)

Proverbs 31:30 “Favour is deceitful, and _______________ is vain: but a woman that ____________________ the LORD, she shall be ______________________________.” A truly beautiful woman is not only attractive on the outside and inside; she is also attractive to God. How a woman looks to God is more important than any other quality she possesses.

WORKS WITH HER HANDS

Proverbs 31:27 “She looketh ______________________ to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of _____________________________.” She enjoys working for her family. She willingly works fast and hard; she does not mind sweat and toil. She reaches deep for extra effort to finish even difficult tasks. She measures her life and value by her productivity for others.

RIGHT WITH GOD Proverbs 31:30 “Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a ________________________ that feareth the ______________________________, she shall be praised.” The fear of the Lord is a fervent and reverent desire to please God and hate anything that displeases Him.

DOES HER HUSBAND GOOD

Proverbs 31:12 “______________ will do him ____________________ and not evil all the days of her life.”

The virtuous woman does her husband good romantically, verbally, financially and with the children. She will also do him good spiritually by being right with God.

BLESSES HER FAMILY

Prov. 31:28 “Her ____________________________ arise up, and call her ___________________________; her ________________________ also, and he ___________________________________________ her.”

The virtuous woman blesses and is a blessing. She never complains about her husband, her work, her children, or her difficulties. She is altogether selfless, never seeking her own pleasure at the expense of the least thing for her family. She is cheerful at all times and nurtures those around her. She surrounds her family with love and fills her house with sunshine. She is a queen. High honors await great women. Here is a woman’s dream – children and husband adore her!
