GOD’S PLAN OF SALVATION PRESENTED IN FIVE POINTS:
(follow along with your Bible and take time to understand each truth.)
1. GOD LOVES YOU AND HAS MEANING AND PURPOSE FOR YOUR LIFE.
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16)
2. EVERY PERSON’S SIN HAS SEPARATED THEM FROM GOD.
“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;” – (Romans 3:23)
3. SELF-EFFORTS CANNOT REPAIR THE DAMAGE CREATED BY SIN.
“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” (Ephesians 2:8-9)
4. JESUS CHRIST IS GOD’S REMEDY FOR SIN.
“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8)
5. YOU MUST PERSONALLY RECEIVE JESUS CHRIST AS YOUR SAVIOR.
“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Romans 10:13)
If you would like to receive Jesus Christ as your Savior, pray this suggested prayer:
Dear God, I come before your presence as humbly as I know how, asking you to forgive me of all my sins. I believe that Jesus died for my sins and I now repent of my sin and trust Jesus Christ as my personal Savior. I am asking you to come into my life and to change my life. Thank you for giving me eternal life. In Jesus name, Amen.
Jesus promised in John 6:47 “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.” If you truly prayed that prayer to God and meant it within your heart, eternal life is now your present possession. We would like to rejoice with you and help you grow in your new Christian walk.
